Who we want
We are looking for the best communicators to help deliver our premium ski and snowboard lessons. An instructor at Moving Mountains Ski is someone who is passionate about being an important part of every client’s individual journey. Our revolving slope technology enables instructors to hone in on details, making lessons at our centre more enjoyable for clients and instructors alike.
About us
Launched in February 2020, Moving Mountains Ski is the largest indoor dry-slope centre in the UK. We offer premium ski and snowboard lessons to clients across the South East of England. Our world class instruction, supported by our cafe and vibrant team, sees more and more clients returning to us every year.
Pay
Competitive (DOE and in recognition of dual Ski/Snowboarding qualifications).
Contract
Zero hour contract
Available October-April
Qualifications
- Please only apply if you are qualified to teach Skiing and/or Snowboarding at minimum Level 1. We recognise Instructor qualifications from all over.
- Valid driving license vehicle access. The centre is not accessible by public transport.
Key responsibilities
- You are responsible for delivering our premium ski and/or snowboard lessons to our clients
- Your training will equip you with a wide range of industry-leading techniques, teaching methods and approaches to ensure our clients receive the most tailored experience possible
- Compile lesson notes to ensure key progression points are captured
- Complete opening and closing procedures to ensure the centre is correctly set up and closed down each day
- Maintain an enthusiastic, positive attitude to your work

We are looking for the best communicators to help enhance our premium ski and snowboard lessons. A FOH team member at Moving Mountains Ski is enthusiastic, reliable and effective under pressure.
About us
Launched in February 2020, Moving Mountains Ski offers premium indoor ski and snowboard lessons during the winter season to clients across the South East of England. We have created a friendly environment supported by our in-house cafe and vibrant team. We are a small, family business who treats every employee as a family extension.
Pay

Training
You will be required to complete 4 hours of unpaid training to ensure you are ready to excel in your role.
Contract
Zero hour contract | October-April
Qualifications
We are happy to consider applicants with limited hospitality experience as strong communication skills are what we are looking for! However experience with telecom communications, cafe and hosting are preferable.
Essential:
- You must be 18+ as we have an alcohol licence
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle. The centre is not accessible by public transport.
Desirable:
- An interest/experience in snowsports
Key responsibilities
- Taking bookings using Timify via phone, online, email and face to face communication
- Welcoming and hosting clients for the duration of their time with us
- Serving in our Café to provide clients with homemade food (hot and cold) and drinks (includes alcohol). This includes coffee making and cake baking!
- Maintaining cleanliness and appearance throughout the centre premises
- Maintain an enthusiastic, positive attitude to your work which contributes significantly to the overall atmosphere
- You are representing the brand and must adhere to the instructor handbook you will receive during the onboarding process
